Terms & Conditions – Silk Lane Transport
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Silk Lane Transport website and transportation services. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms.
Booking Modifications & Cancellations
- 3-Hour Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 3 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
- No Refund: Cancellations made less than 3 hours before pickup are non-refundable.
- Booking Changes: Modifications may be requested up to 2 hours before pickup, subject to availability and may include additional fees.
Waiting Time Policy
Non-Airport Pickups
- 30-minute grace period from the scheduled pickup time.
- After the grace period, waiting time will be charged in 15-minute increments based on the vehicle’s hourly rate.
Airport Pickups
We monitor all flights to ensure timely service.
Grace periods:
- Domestic arrivals: 60 minutes
- International arrivals: 75 minutes
After these periods, waiting time will be charged in 15-minute increments based on the vehicle’s hourly rate.
Vehicle Policies
- Cleaning Fee: Additional charges may apply if the vehicle requires excessive cleaning or damage repair.
- Pets: Small pets are allowed with advance notice and must be kept in carriers. Cleaning fees may apply.
- Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs if the passenger cannot be contacted:
- Within 60 minutes after flight landing for airport pickups
- Within 30 minutes for non-airport pickups
No-shows will be charged the full fare.
Personal Property
Silk Lane Transport is not responsible for lost or misplaced personal belongings left in the vehicle.
Service Delays
Silk Lane Transport is not liable for delays or missed appointments caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Passenger Conduct
Passengers must behave respectfully toward drivers and staff. Abusive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of service and refusal of future bookings.
Privacy
Any personal information provided during the booking process is used only for reservation and service purposes and will not be shared without consent.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to Terms
Silk Lane Transport reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any updates.
